Aura – The True Meaning of the Aura

The aura is the invisible energy field that surrounds the physical body. The aura is also referred to as the energy body, vibrational field, energy field, halo of light, radiant halo, light body, or subtle body. It consists of several layers that are arranged around the physical body like a halo of light.

Aura

Aura – From a Kabbalistic perspective, there are several subtle bodies that surround the physical body. The most common are the etheric body, the emotional body, the mental body, and the astral body, along with other subtle bodies that surround them. There are also various other names for these subtle bodies.

Similar to layers, these subtle bodies surround the physical body, interweaving and interacting with each other. These bodies have different vibrational levels and frequencies. The physical body has a much lower vibrational frequency than the subtle bodies. They are also associated with the chakras, the energy centers in the body.

The seven major energy centers are aligned along the energy channel of the spine and extend into the aura. The chakras are rotating vortices of energy that supply energy to the physical and subtle bodies. Chakras facilitate the exchange of energy and information. They also have different vibrational frequencies that affect the aura. Disruptions and blockages in these energy centers can hinder the flow of energy and information exchange within the chakras and the aura, potentially causing psychological and physical disturbances.

There are different colors within each chakra and subtle body. These colors can be interpreted in many ways and are constantly changing. The aura often reflects the colors and energies of the chakras flowing within the subtle bodies. The colors and vibrations also depend on the presence of psychological or physical disturbances. In addition, the thoughts, sensations, feelings and emotions experienced play a significant role.

Throughout human evolution and spiritual development, the aura can undergo changes. The halo depicted in Christian paintings is related to the aura. This luminous glow around the head represents a special activity of the crown chakra and significantly influences the aura.

Meditation and traditional spiritual exercises can harmonize and balance the chakras and the aura. This improves the flow of energy and harmonizes vibrations. Through the millennia-old mystery tradition of the Hermetic Academy, students are guided step by step on a path that can accelerate spiritual development. Hermetic exercises balance the flow of energy within the chakras and facilitate an improved, harmonious exchange of information between the chakras and the subtle bodies. Life energy is intensified and spiritual potential can unfold.
